Step one to securing your system:

Update Windows Operating system

a. PC operating systems must be patched.  Get Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed on the PC immediately.   Once SP2 is installed check for any other updates Microsoft may have by going to the Windows Update page.

b.  Enable automatic Windows Updates
